Corbett Museum in Jim Corbett National Park

Corbett Museum is located in the Jim Corbett National Park and was established in 1991. It is named after the famous hunter and author, Jim Corbett. The museum has a rich collection of artifacts, photographs, and documents that tell the story of Jim Corbett’s life and work.

The museum is open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm every day except Monday. Admission is free for all visitors.

What is Corbett Museum Famous For ?

Corbett Museum is most famous for housing the remains of the man-eating tiger that killed more than 200 people in Uttar Pradesh, India. The tiger was finally killed by British hunter and conservationist Jim Corbett in 1930. The museum also contains a number of other artifacts related to Corbett’s life and work, including his gun, which he used to kill the tiger.
